🪵 Wooden Rod
Luck 1 · Damage 999 · —
Your free starter rod given at the beginning of the game. Luck 1 and 999 Damage are the lowest stats in the game — only viable on Island 1. Do not spend any Cash upgrading this rod. Replace it the moment you reach 40,000 Cash.
🎣 Upgraded Wooden Rod
Luck 5 · Damage 2,000 · 40,000 Cash
The first real upgrade. Damage doubles to 2,000 and you gain a Luck stat (5) for the first time — meaning rare fish now have a chance to appear. Buy this before exploring past the starter dock. Save to 40,000 Cash and purchase immediately.
⚠️ Rusty Iron Rod — 跳过
Luck 10 · Damage 5,000 · 100,000 Cash
Luck 10 and 5,000 Damage look like a step up — but the math does not support buying this rod. Every experienced Titan Fishing player recommends skipping the Rusty Iron Rod entirely and saving directly for the Gold Plated Rod.
🥇 Gold Plated Rod
Luck 18 · Damage 12,500 · 200,000 Cash
The best mid-game rod and your primary upgrade target after the Upgraded Wooden Rod. Luck 18 means S-tier Legendary fish start appearing regularly in Orange Zones. 12,500 Damage is enough to handle most mid-game fish comfortably. This is the rod that changes the game for most players.
🪨 Stone Rod
Luck 20 · Damage 16,767 · 300,000 Cash
Luck 20 and 16,767 Damage. A worthwhile upgrade if your Skill Book loadout is weak — the extra raw Damage helps in zones 3–4 where fish have significantly more HP. If you already have strong skill books equipped, you can consider skipping straight to the Bamboo Rod.
🎍 Bamboo Rod
Luck 20 · Damage 18,767 · —
Same Luck as the Stone Rod (20) but slightly higher Damage at 18,767. A solid late-game transition rod. Not available for direct Cash purchase — obtained through specific in-game progression or event rewards.
✨ Golden Rod
Luck 22 · Damage 22,000 · 2,363,636 Cash
The end-game target for all Titan Fishing players. Max Luck (22) means SS-tier boss fish like the Jellyfish Dragon and Ice Boss can now appear. 22,000 Damage handles all non-boss content comfortably. At 2,363,636 Cash it is a serious grind milestone — but reaching it fundamentally changes the type of content available to you.
⚙️ Titanium Steel Rod
Luck 22 · Damage 58,437 · —
Same Max Luck (22) as the Golden Rod but 58,437 Damage — approximately 2.6× higher. The extra Damage is critical for SS-tier boss fights like the Ice Boss, where defeating it quickly before other players is everything. Most players upgrade to this only after maximizing their Skill Book loadout.
